The Los Angeles Lakers are beyond cursed this season. With a curse there is usually some method of breaking the misfortune with a ritual or elixir of some sort. There doesn’t seem to be some magical potion or rain dance to alleviate the problems the Lakers are currently facing.
After just starting to get back some players off the injury list, another one has been added.
Without the services of Nick Young the Lakers looked to a familar face for help. The Lakers have brought back forward Shawne Williams who was playing for the Lakers D-League affiliate, D-Fenders.

The Lakers signed Williams to a 10 day contract. Williams played 4 games for the L.A. D-fenders and averaged 19.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Williams stroke from the outside was working well as he shot 49.1 percent from the field and 51.5 percent from the 3 point line.
The Lakers play the 76ers in Philadelphia on Friday.
