Why you want to watch:
This is the first rematch of last years Western Conference Finals match up
between the Mavs and the Thunder. While the Mavs were able to eliminate the
young and upcoming Thunder quickly in 5 games, outside of the finale every
game was decided by 7 points or less. There have been no changes to the
Thunders’ main rotation, however, the Mavs have lost some significant
pieces from their championship run. JJ Barea and their defensive stallworth
and emotional leader Tyson Chandler are now gone; they have been replaced
by veterans Vince Cater and versatile big man Lamar Odom. The teams have
gotten off to contrasting starts. OKC is yet to lose in 3 games and the
Mavs are searching for their first win. Considering the way the Mavs have
looked up to this point it is going to be hard to come up with a win in
Oklahoma City. One thing going for the Mavs is OKC is playing on the 2nd
night of a back to back.
