Lakers to Watch Closely At Tonight’s Jazz at Wolves Game

Utah Jazz at Minnesota Timberwolves

The Los Angeles Lakers kept their playoff hopes alive by defeating the San Antonio Spurs Sunday, 91-86. The win dropped the Lakers magic number down to 1, meaning any Utah Jazz loss or Lakers win will clinch the playoff berth for the Lakers. That opportunity will come tonight when the Utah Jazz face the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have been toiling near the bottom of the Western Conference for most of the season and many would not give them much of chance in tonight’s game. Vegas has the Wolves as 3 and half point underdogs. However, they gave the Jazz a fight in their last meeting on Friday in Salt Lake City. The Jazz, who play great at home, needed 40 points from Al Jefferson and some clutch baskets towards the end of the game to finish off the Wolves, winning 107-100.

The game will not be shown on National TV, so those interested Lakers fans will not be able to see the game unless you are an NBA League Pass subscriber or visit a bar or restaurant that carries the League Pass.
