Steve Nash continues to show why he is vital to the Lakers offensive flow. He scored 16 points on an efficient 7 for 12 shooting and dished out 11 assist. He was instrumental in the 4th in the Lakers overtaking the Knicks and then maintaining the lead. Steve Nash and Dwight Howard connected on a few pick and rolls that ended with Dwight dunking or getting to the free throw line. While Kobe was aggressive for the majority of the game, in the winding moments of the 4th it was Nash that controlled the ball and made the decisions on the offensive end.
The Lakers will travel to Denver to play the Nuggets on Wednesday before returning home to play the Portland Trailblazers at Staples.
