Record vs. each other (2012-13 season): Have not matched up this season.
- Lakers broke their 4 game losing streak by winning at Washington on Friday night. It was not a convincing win but with their recent struggles they’ll take anything in hopes of building momentum.
- Kobe Bryant is in one of his groves. Kobe is averaging 34.4 ppg in the last 5 games which includes a 42 point performance in Cleveland.
- Former UCLA Bruin Jrue Holiday is having a break out season with the 76ers. He leads the team in scoring at 18.4 points and 8.9 assist per game. Jrue missed the 76ers last game due to a sprained right foot and is a game time decision for tonights game against the Lakers.
- Andrew Bynum has yet to play a game for the 76ers this season due to his slow recovery from a bone bruise in his knee. There is no word on when he will return to the court and make his debut for the 76ers.
- The Lakers wrap up their 4 game road trip against the 76ers tonight then head back home to face the Charlotte Bobcats at Staples Center.
