Lakers could take a look at recently cut Armon Johnson

The Portland Trailblazers cut athletic point guard Armon Johnson on Monday to make room to sign free agent big man Joel Przybilla. L.A. on contrasting ends in the NBA top 30 starting PGs list

If you have been wondering how is it possible that the Clippers have surpassed the Lakers in talent you only need to look at the massive disparity between their starting point guards. Chris Paul and Derek Fisher are on the opposite ends of the spectrum in raining3s.com top 30 starting point guards list. Of course it’s a completely subjective list, but some of the criteria that was heavily weighed was playmaking ability, current production, efficiency, stability running the point, leadership and of course the focus of this blog, the ability to hit an outside shot. Defensive ability is also considered but not as heavily weighed as the aforementioned.

The list does not include back up points such as Mo Williams and Kirk Hinrich, otherwise, guys like Fisher would be even farther down the list.
