Cox Communications agreed to a deal to carry the new Lakers stations, TWC Sportsnet and TWC Deportes, with Time Warner Cable it was announced yesterday. That leaves just two holdouts, Directv and Dish Network; those two holdouts mean that over 2 million of their subscribers are still unable to watch Lakers games.
Time Warner had already inked deals to carry the new Lakers’ stations with Verizon, AT&T, Bright House and Charter Cable.
There are no updates from either the Time Warner or Directv and Dish side on the progression of their negotiations, other they are still ongoing. So us remaining Lakers fans that are still in the dark continue to wait.
