A few observations from Lakers 68-61 win over 76ers

Saturday’s Summer League match-up between the Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers pinned the number 2 pick, Lakers guard D’Angeleo Russell, and the 76ers’ center Jahlil Okafor, the 3rd pick who many had expected the Lakers to take. Both players but on a good show for the summer league audience who packed the Thomas and Mack center in Vegas to watch the match-up.

The Lakers used a 41 to 28 2nd half to pull away from the 76ers and take the game 68-61 to even up their summer league record to 1-1.

The much anticipated debut of the recently drafted rookies for the Los Angeles Lakers finally took place today in Las Vegas as the NBA Summer League kicked off in Sin City. In first round of tournament, 76ers dominate Lakers, 85-63
