If DeAndre Jordan bolts, Clippers don’t have the money to replace him

It might not appear like it from the outside  but it is full on DEFCON 5 (actually DEFCON 1 since that is the most severe but when in Rome) at the Clippers headquarters as they try to throw everything conceivable at DeAndre Jordan in hopes he’ll re-sign and not leave them with a massive void in the middle with no ability to replace him with anything more than a marginal NBA player.  Continue reading If DeAndre Jordan bolts, Clippers don’t have the money to replace him

Chris Paul’s comments justly questioned Competence; not Sexist

The Los Angeles Clippers are not in a good place at the moment, having just lost 3 of their last 4 games which is a major setback considering it felt like things were on the upswing after winning 6 in a row. In a season filled with lofty expectations where many in the basketball world picked the Clippers to come out of the Western Conference this season, the pursuit of meeting those expectations has come up short thus far and this most recent setback adds another level of frustration for the Clippers’ players.  Continue reading Chris Paul’s comments justly questioned Competence; not Sexist

Wizards snap Clippers 9 game win streak with 104-96 win

Clippers beat Pacers 103-96 for 9th win in a row

The Los Angeles Clippers led by as many as 20 points against the Indiana Pacers at nearly blew that led late in the game. The Pacers cut the lead down to 2 points (98-96) at the 2 minute mark in the 4th quarter with a Lavoy Allen jumper; however, Clippers scored the next 5 points and held the Pacers scoreless the rest of the way, holding on to a 103-96 victory.  Continue reading Clippers beat Pacers 103-96 for 9th win in a row
