The Los Angeles Clippers fell to 0-3 in the preseason after their 102-89 loss to the Utah Jazz on Monday.

Blake Griffin had a dominate performance in defeat, scoring 31 points on 14 for 22 shooting from the field. Chris Paul had 11 points and a team high 11 assists. JJ Redick scored 17 points on the night.

Many of the young up-and-comers from the Jazz had very impressive showings, most notably, 2013 first round pick Rudy Gobert who came in off the bench and pulled down a game high 20 rebounds; Gobert also scored 11 points on the night to complete the double-double.

The 23rd overall pick in the first round of the Jazz, Rodney Hood, made his debut Monday Night and was impressive. Hood got the start for the Jazz and finished with 12 points on 5 for 8 shooting from the field and 2 of 3 from deep. The Jazz’s other first round pick, Dante Exum, continued his struggles in preseason, scoring 9 points off the bench but committing a game high 8 turnovers and 4 personal fouls.

The Clippers will try to get their next win against this same Utah Jazz team on Friday when they switch venues and play in Los Angeles.
