The answer to many Lakers’ fans question this off-season was answered by the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday with the announcement of the signing of guard Jordan Clarkson.

Clarkson was the 46th pick in the 2nd round of the 2014 NBA draft. Clarkson’s draft rights were acquired by the Los Angeles Lakers via a trade with the Washington Wizards.
Clarkson was impressive during summer league play while playing the the Lakers. Clarkson led the Lakers’ summer league squad in scoring at 15.8 points per game and shot 42.4 percent from the field.
The signing of Clarkson puts the Lakers roster at 13 (not including the training camp invitees) which is just 2 short of the maximum allowed for an NBA roster. The Lakers will likely leave 1 roster spot open for flexibility and fill the 14th roster spot with either one of the training camp invitees that impress in training camp or another free agent signing.
