The NBA released its 2014-2015 NBA schedule on Wednesday. The NBA will open up the season on TNT with the Dallas Mavericks playing at the defending champions, San Antonio Spurs, on October 28. In the second game of opening night on TNT, the Houston Rockets visits the Los Angeles Lakers.

While no longer considered one of the elite teams in the league, the Los Angeles Lakers are still a draw on national TV and as such will be featured in 20 nationally televised games (ESPN, TNT and ABC) this season. The Lakers will not be the most watched nationally of the Los Angeles teams as the Clippers have overtaken them this season, appearing in 23 nationally televised games. The Cleveland Cavs, Oklahoma City Thunder and Chicago Bulls lead the league with 25 nationally televised games a piece.

Of those nationally televised games we share what we believe to be the most interesting.
