Byron Scott was introduced as the new Los Angeles Lakers head coach last week and during the press conference his old Showtime running mates were there along side him, supporting their long time friend. Seeing Magic Johnson, James Worthy, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Byron Scott conjured up memories of that great Showtime team.

While most remember the aforementioned Hall-of-Famers from those Showtime teams, Scott was a great player in his own right, and pretty spectacular on the court with his athletic ability. Scott could get up there and put them down with the best in that era, but many might not remember or in the case with many young Lakers’ fans, never actually witnessed it for themselves. That being the case, we decided to put together a short video of some of Byron Scott’s best dunks during his time with the Lakers and even though the picture quality is not the best, it’s still pretty impressive.
