2014 NBA Free Agency: Day Two Commitments

One of the bigger names in free agency has come off the board as guard Kyle Lowry announced today that he will return to the Toronto Raptors. Lowry posted the news first on his Instagram account:

Lowry will get a substantial raise from the 6.2 million he made last season.

The Indiana Pacers are currently in a stalemate in their negotiations with Lance Stevenson and picked up a nice shooter as insurance in C.J. Miles.

Veteran shooting guard, Ben Gordon, has agreed to sign with the Orlando Magic.

A signing we forgot to mention yesterday was the young and tenacious defender, Avery Bradley, who has agreed to return to the Boston Celtics at a significant pay raise.

Early in the day, it was being reported that Gordon Hayward would receive a maximum salary offer sheet from the Cleveland Cavs which would pay him a starting salary of around 14 million, for 4 years and totaling in the neighborhood of 63 million dollars. However, as it got later in the day it seems that either the reports were inaccurate or the Cavs had a chance of heart.

This ends the free agent action from day 2.
