Byron Scott Gets Second Interview with Lakers

Chris Broussard of ESPN and Sam Amick reported today via Twitter that the Los Angeles Lakers have brought Byron Scott back for a 2nd interview for their vacant head coaching position.

While Broussard reports that Scott is the only coach to get a 2nd interview, it could just be the beginning of the 2nd round of interviews. In addition to Scott, the Lakers have already interviewed Alvin Gentry, Kurt Rambis, Mike Dunleavy and Lionel Hollins for their head coaching position.

If Scott is on track to get the Lakers position he would be an immediate fan favorite and already has a close relationship with team leader Kobe Bryant who he played with during his rookie season.
