Linna’s workout schedule:
“Work out 5 days a week. I work on a different muscle group everyday. One day is legs other a shoulders and back, arms,biceps, triceps etc.”
“High on protein. Low on carbs: egg whites , oatmeal fruit, chicken breast, salmon, lents, veggies brown rice, tilapia, boil eggs, etc. It varies everyday.”
“My short term goal would be to gain more muscle. I’ve always wanted to compete as a body builder, that’s my long term goal.”
How long have you made fitness a major focus?
“Believe it or not, I use to never workout! I was a lazy girl. When I was about 20 years old I noticed how insecure I was about my body, so I started working out . I did cardio exercises for about two years, lost a lot of weight but I was still not completely happy with my body. That’s when I met my trainer and we started hitting the weights. I’ve seen major changes in my body in less than a year so I’m very excited about what’s to come!”
How important is fitness in your life?
“Fitness is everything. I would not be the strong woman I am now if it wasn’t for fitness. It has built my character and helped me find courage in everything I do.”
What drives you to continue pushing yourself during workouts?
“The results is what drives me. No pain, no gain. Pushing myself at the exact point when my body is ready to give up makes the difference. My mind plays the biggest role during all my workouts.”
