Dwight Dominates Bucks. Lakers win 104-88

Dwight Howard has back to back dominating games since returning from his shoulder injury and helps the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Milwaukee Bucks, 106-90. Dwight again looked rejuvenated in scoring 31 points and grabbing 16 rebounds. This was the first time that Dwight Howard scored 30 or more points since October 31st which was the 2nd game of the season.

Kobe Bryant was efficient on the night, scoring 31 points on 12 for 19 shooting. Kobe, who’s main defensive responsibility was to guard Brandon Jennings, held Jennings to 12 points on 4-14 shooting and 1 assist. Brandon is coming off being named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week after averaging 24.5 points per game, shooting 48 percent from the field and 4 assists per game for the week.

The Lakers moved the ball around well for the 2nd night in a row, ending the night with 30 assist. The Lakers had 32 assist in Sunday’s win against the Cleveland Cavs.

The Lakers moved to just 3 games back of Portland for the 8th and final playoff spot after the Blazers loss to the Denver Nuggets, 115-111 Tuesday night.

The Lakers next game is on Thursday at home where they’ll face the defending champions, Miami Heat.
