Updated list of bars with Time Warner Cable showing the Lakers game

Due to the continued stalemate between Time Warner Cable and the major pay TV carriers in Los Angeles, the new Lakers‘ station TWC Sportsnet and TWC Deportes, which have exclusive rights to show all Lakers game this year, the only way Lakers fan will be able to see the Lakers this year is by either subscribing to Time Warner Cable or going to an establishment that has Time Warner Cable. The major problem is that most bars and restaurants that center their business around showing sports programming have Directv. Raining3s.com identified a need to put a list together of bars and restaurants that both subscribe Time Warner Cable and will show Lakers games for us Lakers fans. I would recommend calling ahead or clicking on the website link we provided to get more information about their menu, whether they sell alcohol and confirm they are showing the Lakers game on a particular night. Here is the most comprehensive list of its kind out there:

Updated 11/1/2012 with 5 new bars or restaurants!!

I will continue scouring the entire Los Angeles and Orange County area for more bars and restaurants that will be showing Lakers games until Time Warner and the other cable and satellite carriers come to an agreement to carry TWC Sportsnet and TWC Deportes. Stay tuned.

    1. Palomino in Westwood switched to Dish & doesn’t have the games anymore. Go across the street to NAPA VALLEY GRILLE- it’s the only place in Westwood w/ the games they have TVs indoors & outdoors & a great happy hour. They have PAC12.

      1. Hashigo Sushi in Huntington Beach has Time Warners and the Lakers games on. Also best sushi in town. Happy hours Mon-Thursday….

    1. Thank you. I will contact them and if confirmed ill add them to the list.

With TWC completing deals with Verizon, ATT & Charter there should be many quite a few more bars and restaurants that will show the Lakers game. But since a deal is still not in place with Directv most bars and restaurants will not be able to show the games.

  1. Here’s another spot for your list

El Toro Cantina 5364 Wilshire Blvd Los Angeles 90036 (the old Conga Room) $1 tacos on Tuesdays

    All Lakers games 😉

    1. Wow, incredible blog laouyt! How long have you been blogging for? you made blogging look easy. The overall look of your site is great, as well as the content!. Thanks For Your article about Manzo’s Italian Deli West Palm Beach | Restaurants in Palm Beach .

  2. Is there an updated List? I live in Huntington Beach and would like to watch that Dodgers game tonight at 7PM. I will keep researching and post here if I find something. I am thinking if Sharkeez in Manhattan Beach has it the one in Huntington Beach should also.

    1. This list was created when the same issue occured with the Lakers TWC Sportsnet and the other pay tv carriers. It hasnt been updated since then and many of these bars/restaurants have gone out of business.

The issue with TWC is that they are territorial, so certain cities cant even subscribe to TWC if they wanted to because that area will be owned by another cable carrier.

If you find one on this list that is close by i recommend calling them first to make sure they are still in business and still subscribe to TWC.

  3. This list is awesome, but outdated. Some of them are out of business, like George’s in Downey and Corona Grill in lynwood (wouldnt want to go there anyway.

Ive been to 300 Bowl in La Habra. Its actaully a nice set up of TVs in their bar and beer is cheap. I would recommend that place for Dodger games.
